Doing our best to help, guide, and support

The Palm Beach Community Services Center (PBCSC) was launched six years ago, in 2009. PBCSC is registered as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization by the Internal Revenue Service.

PBCSC currently provides services in Palm Beach County, Florida, and projects to increase services in this region during the timeline that this strategic plan covers. Beginning in 2017, PBCSC will seek to expand its services and models to other markets in Florida and other states through its own programs and by partnering with like-minded organizations with similar capacities and reach. Those markets are yet to be determined and will be included in the next revision of our strategic plan.

PBCSC has the expertise and six years of experience working with its target population (described below) having worked with and empowered 49 individuals to date. Currently, funding from the Florida Department of Education is allowing the organization to serve a certain number of individuals. We look forward to serving a larger number of individuals and will be seeking other funding sources to do so.

Further, beginning in 2016, PBCSC will begin working with underserved immigrant communities in Palm Beach County on several fronts. Services will include providing financial literacy and civic engagement training for adults and mentoring and other educational services for children and youth.
